Alligators Coming! [Paperback] Gray, Susannah and Jones, Zach

"Alligators Coming" is the story of one boy's very creative imagination and the fun it brings to his entire household. Like many other beloved children's books, "Alligators Coming" is inspired by a young boy's love of animals placed in a child's pretend world and created within the confines of his very own home. Zach's animal friends range from alligators to dragons to monkeys, who all enjoy playing in the comfort of Zach's home. They teach him good and not so good habits, but mostly, they all have fun together, including Zach's mommy! Just like my other children's books, this story was drawn from actual events when my boys, Zach and Nathan, were little. "Alligators Coming!" took place when I only had Zach, the oldest of my two children. He didn't say much when he was a toddler, so when he started repeating one of his now famous "catch phrases," his family listened. Shouting "Alligators Coming!" and running around the house to get away from them was one of those phrases, and the inspiration for this book, where all of Zach's usual and unusual animal and creature friends have a chance to visit and play with Zach and his mommy. For the last 15 years, I have lived in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and so far, island life suits me! I was born and raised in Alabama, so I never could have imagined my life would take me to a tropical island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, but it has become my second home, and the only home my children have ever known. I work full time in the field of education, currently as a training specialist for Child, Youth, and School Services on the small military base where I reside. I hope some day to be able to devote more time to my books as writing is my true passion.
