Not perfect

This holder does not have enough play in it to install properly. You have to pull with all your might just to get the velcro ends to line up, and it's just awkward! It is too tight around a factory stock and it's overall design does not conform correctly to align with the typical contours of a rifle buttstock. Also, the holder allows too much of the shell/bullet to be exposed. I''ve always used traditional 'slip-on' shell holders which guarded the shells very well. One last thing, the description boasts something about allowing for the gun sling eye-bolt...nonsense. You have to cut into the material yourself which frays the elastic and just ruins everything. Would not recommend to any fellow hunter, looks great - but not practical at all, plus has fitting issues as well. Sorry.
