It drys quickly, but not so quickly that you don't have time to put the pieces together. It drys clear and works on metal, glass, and other smooth surfaces that other glues might not stick. After e3000, e6000, hot glue, and super glue failed to adhere two glass beads together I embarked on this particular type of glue. it adhered well, and dried fast. exercise caution as I did stick my fingers to the project and had to use acetone to get it off.
