Nice! :D -- in the right application. .

If you keep your expectations modest of this mini-sub's output, you will likely love it. It's not designed for bumping the sheet metal of your car, but adding solid musical bass at a low current draw (only 4.5 amps!) -- designed for interior placement in a small vehicle -- I have a compact SUV and placed it under the drivers seat where it easily fits -- the manual installation for me was gravity only, but it comes with hardware for formal mounting - Pioneer suggests the passenger footwell. Better if your stereo head unit has a High Pass Filter (HPF); set it to 120Hz (set this unit to it's max of 125Hz) and then the low-end frequencies don't get sent to your 6 1/2" door speakers and they can focus on the mid's and high's leaving the bass to the Sub without losing any music -- the result is seamless playback which is what this product specializes in. .

Great little speaker

I bought this with a bit of trepidation as I was concerned about how small it was. I thought about ordering the next size up, Pioneer TS-WX130, but figured I would give this a try as the advantage with this one was that it only draws 4.6A of power and I wouldn't have to run a line through the firewall to the battery. I just used a fuse tap into a spare fuse slot. Super easy. I played with the locations and tried it in the footwell and under the passenger seat but I'm a bit OCD and I knew it would drive me nuts in if I left in the footwell so I ended up installing it under the seat. As this is down-firing, the difference in sound was negligible and I am very happy with the sound and that it is hidden from view under the seat. Note that this doesn't come with a volume remote so if you are using it with a factory radio, you won't be able to make quick adjustments to the sub. You'll have to make any changes directly on the sub. It wasn't an issue for me as I have a Pioneer head unit and I am able to adjust crossover, bass and volume directly on the stereo itself. All in all, I have to commend Pioneer as this completely changed the sound in my car. I had replaced the head unit but left the factory speakers and it was seriously lacking low end sound. I now have a nice thump with well-rounded sound. Not sure how they pulled it off but it sounds amazing and it was a breeze to install.

This subwoofer is perfect and great bass!

It's the perfect subwoofer for my Honda Accord sport Hybrid! The sound is amazing for this small sub! I don't even had the need to disconnect the ANC module with this sub! Amazing! Recommended! You won't break your car's windows with this! You won't rattle your neighborhood windows! This subwoofer is intended for additional bass sound to the pos oem audio system! My original oem audio is very poor on the base notes! I tapped this sub to the front speakers for signal! This sub only uses less than 5 amps so I got the 12volt from the interior fuse box(acc) ! Now the audio sounds great with bass (not rattling). I'm very pleased! This subwoofer is perfect for hybrid and electric cars(they don't have alternator)
