We find that the birds seem to like the mealworms %26 nuts suet cakes better than other suet cakes we've tried. We have a bird feeder station outside a north window, where we can sit inside and watch the birdies as they come nibble away. We especially love the woodpeckers! Red bellied Woodpeckers, and Downy Woodpeckers, but several other kinds of birds come for the suet block. They do tend to be a bit sticky, so we tear one end of the package open, and drop the block into the suet cage. Even if your hands are a little sticky afterward, it washes off easily with soap and water.
