Maintaining ideal body condition is key to encouraging proper growth in all puppies, especially large breeds. The indicated amounts are only a guideline. If your puppy becomes overweight a reduction of your puppy's daily food intake may be appropriate. You may wish to consult your veterinarian about a weight control program. Making the Switch to Pro Plan: Although you'll be anxious to see the difference Pro Plan can make in your dog, please allow 7-10 days to ease the transition from your dog's current food. Each day, simply feed a little less of the previous food and a little more Pro Plan until you're feeding Pro Plan exclusively. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets. Feeding for Reproduction: Pro Plan provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in stages of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation, so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's ideal body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation. Provide adequate fresh water in a clean container daily. For your pet's health, see your veterinarian regularly. Recommended Daily Feeding: Puppies start to nibble solid foods at 3-4 weeks of age. Keep moistened Pro Plan available at all times. Allow your puppy to eat at will until fully weaned (6-8 weeks). After weaning, Pro Plan can be fed moistened or dry. High Quality Puppy Food
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have raised my Cairn Terrier on Pro Plan Puppy since getting him from the breeder. She recommended and had already started him on this puppy food. He is extremely healthy and has a wonderful coat. I couldn't be happier with the quality of this food for my baby!

purina pro puppy
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really liked this product. It was recommended by the vets when I first got my puppy. He's a German short haired pointer so he needs may be different compared to another breed. I love how purina pro has the personalized option to assist the needs of your pup. My puppy loves this food and he can't wait to eat it every day :)

Best food for puppy
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My puppy has been on this food since he's been able to eat kibble. The breeder recommended keeping him on it to support his development and we're glad we did. Our puppy absolutely loves this food! His coat is also very shiny. It provides a bunch of nutrients that is great for these important development stages. We even had to get a slow feeder because he loves this food so much. We're definitely sticking with the Pro Plan line.
