It is really sticky, so that can be good. I have not tried to remove it because I did not plan on the places I used it to be temporary. So I cannot speak to that. I used it to keep some items from moving around on the countertop in my kitchen. I have a hotpot on a trivet and I have a large counter protector. When they slid around it was awkward with my arthritis. Now they stay in place. I also used it outside on a stucco wall to keep a holiday decoration in place.

I'm in love with this tape! It's thickness secures most items. I've used it to hang framed pictures and calendars. Because they are "Gel" like, they were hard to get off the paper it was on (I don't have fingernails, lol) But when I got a corner up and tried to pull it off it stretched. But once I got them off of there they did the job, and I haven't had a problem since.
