The laundry whitener works to help remove rust stains, yellowing, and dinginess from iron and other water impurities. OUT White Brite is the only whitener that can remove mineral-based stains. Bleach cleaners can be harsh on fabric fibers and don’t always get the job done, but our powerful clothing whitener is gentle yet effective. Use the formula as a pre-soak wash or a whitening booster in the laundry. Choose the pre-soak for tough stains on whites and the laundry booster option for brighter whites during normal wash cycles. The formula is septic-friendly and appropriate for all types of washing machines, including HE, front load, and top load washers, and all tub types, even stainless steel. Brighten dingy white clothes, uniforms, towels, sheets, bedding, and more. Please read instructions before use and test in an inconspicuous area. Do not use with peroxide, bleach, and bleach-detergents.

Instructions
Read entire label before using. Do not use with peroxide, bleach, bleach-detergents, oxi-stain removers or oxi-detergents. Pre-Soak for tough stains on whites. 1. Fill a plastic container with 1 gallon of warm water and add 1/2 cup of White Brite®. 2. Soak stained white clothing in solution for 20 minutes*. 3. Remove and wash as normal. *For stubborn stains increase dosage and/or soaking time. Laundry Booster for brighter whites. 1. Add 1/2 cup of White Brite® to warm water as washer is filling (for front loading machines add White Brite® to the detergent drawer). 2. Once washer is full, add clothes and let soak for 5 minutes (if possible, with soak cycle or by stopping machine). 3. Add detergent and wash as normal.

If acceptable, wash each item separately using the instructions above. CAUTION: EYE & SKIN IRRITANT. HARMFUL IF SWALLOWED. VAPOR HARMFUL. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN & PETS. Contains Sodium Metabisulfite, Sodium Hydrosulfite and Sodium Carbonate. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and mucous membranes. Do not take internally. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing dust and vapors, especially after mixing with water. Wear rubber gloves when using this product. Mix in adequate open container to avoid spills or bursting. Do not mix with any other cleaners or household chemicals as fumes may be harmful if inhaled. Persons with respiratory problems (i.e. asthma) or sulfite sensitivity should not use this product since the vapors may result in breathing difficulty. FIRST AID: IF IN EYES, flush with water for 15 minutes and get immediate medical attention. IF ON SKIN OR CLOTHING, flush thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. IF INGESTED, do not induce vomiting. Call a poison control center (1-800-222-1222) or doctor immediately for treatment advice.

I found this by accident. I washed an ink pen in my white uniform shirts. Getting ink all over my white uniform shirts and even in the dryer. What a mess. I grabbed this in hopes it would work. Put in a sink with very hot water and swished it around about every 15 minutes adding more hot water. Rinsed it out and can you believe not one smidgen of an ink mark l, even after drying in dryer. Also put in solution of water to clean dryer and house hold chores. Amazing
