EZ fit.

I have been using these on my bracket car for many years, they don't seem to give up anything performance wise compared to conventional headers of the same size. You can also run a long oil filter with these.

The good, the bad and the ugly

I bought mine some 4 years ago so there may have been som changes (to the better). The bad: If you don´t want to re-do the paint job, get the coated ones. My friend did and they´re excellent. I bought the painted option and you should consider the paint as shipping protection. It was actually coming off as I unpacked it. Some sand blasting and re-painting later they stay black as I did them. The ugly: The welds... Not pretty is an understatement in my opinion. However, they don´t leak. But when I was installing them a bolt was really hard to get in the threads. Well no wonder, it had weld spots in the hole! Again it was no big deal to correct but still... Now the good! And I really think the pros outweigh the cons. For one they are the only headers I´ve ever had that I can install and remove just by removing the exhaust and header bolts. THAT`S IT! My car is a ´68 Camaro with SBC. I can install and remove the starter with the headers on and removing spark plugs is tight but easy enough. For my final point. Flowtech claim that they work as both small and full lenght headers. With my old 355 I shifted at 7000+ rpm with pull all the way. Now I have a 383 and a tight converter (about 2500 flash) and I cross the finish line after 12.13 sec in a 3400 lbs car so I´d say they deliver. Larger primary tubes would probably give a bit more top end but shave off low end torque so I think they are a good combo.
