This chainsaw has already more than paid for itself by helping me cut large tree limbs and debris to pile and burn. It is easy to use for beginners, yet rugged enough to get most amateur jobs done completely and safely. The included battery has lasted long enough for me to complete my projects and taking it apart to clean it is also easy. Just ensure you buy oil separately as none is included.

I received my HART 40-Volt Cordless and Brushless 14-inch Chainsaw Kit. It comes with a 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery. This is a big battery, so it will last a long time in between charges. I fully charged the battery using the included charger. This chainsaw has a side access area so that you can easily adjust the chain and make any needed tension adjustments or change out the chain. First impression is that it looks very nice. The battery is a little heavy (so that it can last longer), but other than that, it’s not TOO heavy. It also comes with a handy tool to make adjustments with. It does NOT come with bar oil. There is a little tank that requires bar oil which you can get most anywhere. This oil reservoir tank is used for the automatic oiler. I LOVE that feature so that you don’t have to manually oil the bar. As most know, that can be tedious. I cannot say enough good about this chainsaw. With just a push of the switch, it starts. It’s not very loud either. No gas or spark plugs ever needed. This is handy to keep anywhere. You could throw it in your tool box if you wanted. The bar is 14” long so plenty long enough for most jobs. I tried it out on few limbs from a tree and it worked seamlessly and produced smooth quick cuts! Highly recommend this to anyone that needs a saw that will work, not choke down.
