The Airmax EcoSeries Floating Fountain showcases premium spray patterns that outperform other half-horsepower fountains at a fraction of the energy consumption. Provides energy-efficient aeration to ponds up to 1/4 surface acre, six feet deep. Fountains provide shallow aeration, improving water quality and supporting aquatic animals, fish, and marine wildlife. As the water crests into the air and splashes back into the pond, it breaks the water tension, pushing debris and algae to the bottom or toward the shore. This continuous water movement is also a great way to help control mosquitoes and other aquatic insect pests. Fountains add the sound of running water and create a soothing and peaceful ambiance in your outdoor landscape. Fountains are an impressive addition to summer parties and special events, providing the perfect view from your patio, deck, porch, or dock. The EcoSeries is powered by an oil-free 1/2 HP stainless steel motor. The bottom-draw pump pulls water from deeper within the pond, acting as a water circulator and increasing the fountain's performance by launching a powerful jet of water. No tools are required for assembly or when changing nozzle heads. This efficient and effective floating fountain is ideal for exterior landscaping ponds, golf courses, farm ponds, and small ponds in commercial settings. Not recommended for large lakes. Fountains can be purchased with or without color-changing LED lights to illuminate your fountain at night. The lights are operated by a wireless remote, which lets you select unlimited color options, from warm to cool white and every shade of the rainbow. The EcoSeries allows you to pick the perfect spray shape and lighting color to create a superior show outdoors. Other pond equipment that can help your fountain perform at its best include a mooring kit to anchor it to the shore or bottom. Fountain Mooring kits include two heavy metal stakes, a cable with clamps, and steel carabiners. Pound the stakes into the ground and attach the mooring cable underneath the float mount ring. Enjoy!    Installing the EcoSeries Fountain  Installation: Please review the product manual and ensure you have power close to your pond before installing your fountain. If you do not have power close to your pond, we recommend always using a licensed electrician to properly run power down to the pond.  Power Cord Length: To determine your required power cord length, you must first locate your power source. Measure from the power outlet to the pond's edge. The power cord will then travel along the bottom of your pond and up to your floating fountain. Measuring pond depth is sometimes challenging, and adding a 10% buffer to your measurements is always a good idea.  Plug & Play Control Panel: The control panel includes two 115-volt outlets ready to power one fountain and one optional light set. No hard wiring is required. Simply plug in the 24-inch power cord whip into a standard 115-volt outlet. In the event of a ground fault, a fast-acting circuit breaker will shut off the electrical power. The control panel features dual digital timers, allowing you to independently program fountain and light run times for up to eight cycles.  Optional Light Sets: No tools are required when installing the optional RGBW LED Lights to the EcoSeries. The Clamp-On design allows each light fixture to clip onto the float and secures easily with a tension screw. Light Sets are protected with stainless steel braiding between light fixtures and on the power cord lead.
