I'm a self-taught artist and crafter. I've worked with a few different types of clay, but I wanted something inexpensive that would air dry quickly, without firing or baking, to use for making little cactus %26 succulent plants in tiny pots. I saw this item and even though it's billed as kids' clay, it looked like it would work. I'm very pleased with how the items turned out. The clay is really easy to work with, and didn't stick to my hands or my desk surface. Molding and shaping was a breeze, especially with the detailing tools that are included. The colors are vibrant (and they blend beautifully for customization) and the clay air dries quickly. I can't speak for large pieces, but for my small items, it dried without any noticeable shrinkage or cracks. The flower shapes attached with a drip of crafting glue, and to attach the beads, I first poked holes with a pick, then added a dot of glue for extra security.
