- Rowntree's launched AERO Mint into the UK, followed by the milk chocolate variation in the 1970s. During the First and Second World Wars, Rowntree's was unable to produce pure milk chocolate bars due to the rationing of milk, and so the production of AERO came to a temporary halt. However, AERO was re-introduced in 1950 and first featured on TV in 1955, with the caption ‘The milk chocolate that's different'. As AERO continued to thrive, new flavour variations and chocolate formats were launched, including AERO Lime, AERO Coffee, AERO Caramel, and most famously AERO Bubbles in 2005. AERO's biggest launch of recent history is AERO Mousse - bubbly milk chocolate topped with a velvety layer of mousse, all wrapped up in a smooth chocolate shell.

Heavenly treat that makes you feel whole again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you bite through the smooth surfaced milk chocolate in to the light airy peppermint bubbles, releasing the flavours that go on to hit the taste buds and senses, that very moment in time everything around you comes to a halt and you just enjoy every second of it. The best thing about the AERO Peppermint Multipack of 4×27g bars is that you get to re-live that feeling and experience at your next treat time or share it with those who deserve it too ;-)

Minty and delicious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very nice chocolate bar that is light, minty and bubbly in the centre with a milk chocolate outer coating. The mint is a very nice flavour but not overpowering. It is a nice bar that's light and melts in the mouth. Great for a snack as it's not to filling due to the bubbly texture. Just the right size bar for a treat.
