These topical flea drops kill adult fleas on cats before they lay new eggs. Apply at the base of your cat's skull. This treatment works hard for 30 days to treat existing flea infestations and prevent further infestations on cats for up to four (4) weeks. What's more, Advantage for cats is fragrance-free and waterproof. This topical flea treatment is available without a prescription. Your cat must be over 9 lbs. and at least 8 weeks of age to use Advantage for Large Cats. Use as directed by label. *Kills fleas on cats within 12 hours of application

First Aid: In In Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. If Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If on Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 - 20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice. Hot Line Number: Have the product container or label with you when calling a poison control center or doctor, or going for treatment. For medical emergencies call 888-545-5973. For customer questions call 888-545-5973. Note to Physician: Treat the patient symptomatically. ,Security device enclosed. Keep out of reach of children. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately. If your animal is on medication, consult your veterinarian before using this or any other product. For consumer questions call 888-545-5973. For medical emergencies call 888-545-5973. Side Effects: Monitor your cat after application. Side effects may include signs of skin irritation such as redness, scratching, or other signs of discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as hypersalivation, vomiting or diarrhea have also been reported. If these or other side effects (such as lethargy) occur, consult your veterinarian or call 888-545-5973. Restrictions: Use only on cats 8 weeks and older. Do not use on other animals. Do not apply to kittens or cats weighing less than 9 lbs. I wasn't sure about getting this product because flea drops haven't worked so well in the past. They either don't work or they're too harsh for my cat. Well I got the flea lights. Which are amazing so highly recommend as well, but I also wanted something for the fleas that just would not jump off my cat for nothing. So I put this on and it works immediately. And I've seen no more fleas. Combined with 3 flea lights around the house I got rid of everything within a month. Maybe a few lingering but 99% gone in a month. I still put one on about every couple months because she lights to say hi to the outside cats sometimes and I think that's where they come from.

Better than collars, by far!
Out of everything on the market, this is the only thing that literally works on my cats. The collars don't work at all, they smell nice, but that's it and with one of my cats- one of the brands I tried caused his fur to fall out and his skin to blister, so I tried this brand of flea and tick drops on my cats and I have not used collars since. My cats no longer have problems with pests and we're all happy. Putting the drops on is lots easier than most get, it protects wonderfully.
