limited user control

after installing this faucet I've discovered the posi-temp design removes all user control where independent hot or cold flow rate is concerned. One has to bring the cold first before the hot will engage. My wife hates this design because she can no longer add just hot water to her bath to keep the water hot to her liking. The water temp is ALWAYS moderate due to the posi-temp control valve. I can't understand why Moen even put a design like this out there, our old original independent two control valve design was far superior to this single valve design. I'm sorry now that I purchased this and I get grief from my spouse....stay way from this design

Breaks every three years like clock work

One of the reasons I selected Moen fixtures is the lifetime warranty. It is a great warranty. Unfortunately, every three years the same plastic piece inside the shower handle cracks and my shower begins to leak. The warranty is great and the system makes it very easy to get the part replaced for free. However, when I purchased Moen hardware I didn't expect for it break so frequently. If I wanted to have to replace the handle every three years I wouldn't have spent the money for the Moen brand. I'm disappointed in the quality of this product but continue to be a fan of the Moen warranty.
