Clean and clear (almost) oil
I got this for my 2014 f150 5.0. Truck has over 130000 miles and I had been using motorcraft 5w/20. I switched due to the extra miles and the Rotella product has a following with diesels users has being serious oil for serious engines. After changing oil I checked the oil level and found it hard to read, the oil is clear on the dip stick. Light amber in the container. I'm impressed so far another 4000 miles and we shall see how it looks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best 0W-20 oil for a great price!
I have been concerned about how robust the 0W-20 viscosity motor oils are but after having had a good track record using other Shell Rotella products in my diesel engines in the past I thought I would give their new Gas Truck motor oil a try in my gasoline powered SUV. I have seen a virgin oil analysis (VOA) on this oil and then got a used oil analysis (UOA) after 5000 miles. The UOA reported that the oil's additives were barely affected and the total base number (TBN), which measures acidic depletion of the oil, was commensurate with that of any other comparable oil after similar usage. What it all boils down to is that THIS IS the robust oil I wanted and I am looking forward to continuing to use it in the future. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
