Floorchiere lamp is a great
I am not a Walmart shopper, but I have to tell you I am extremely pleased. The lamp arrived quickly. It was so easy to assemble that no directions were needed. It blends very well with my earth tone color pallet and transitional style furniture. I looked at this style of lamp at one of the high end stores and it was $300. The biggest difference between the high end version and this one is the material for the shade. The one from the high end store was a little thicker making it more resilient, but it also made the light more opaque. The shade is of a good quality for this type of lamp. I used 3 60 watt bulbs and it lights a 15 x 24 room with 4 windows very well. The wood base is of a good weight, so the lamp does not wobble. I do not recommend this lamp is you have a baby/toddler who is prone to touch things.
