Reliable Choice for an HDD

It's a reliable hard drive that's priced right. It may not be the fastest but it's reliable. Previously we purchased a 2 TB version of this to pair with our Tablo DVR. That one has been running without issue for several years now. When it was time to find a backup solution for our home computer it was easy to pick this WD 5 TB HDD.

So far so good

It ends up working fine, so far no problems. Portable, the fan is silent. I'd argue it's a pretty good choice if you're looking for an external. I almost ended up going to another company but heard WD was better, more well made and goes the extra mile. This is true to my knowledge and I hope to buy more products from the company soon, if it applies
