I picked up the Acer V15 laptop primarily as a desktop replacement as mine died a few months ago. For that reason I can't really comment on battery life. I use it plugged in. It handles general computer use quite well, no issues whatsoever with anything I tried. Screen brightness and level of detail, keyboard, and touchpad are all well set up and perform as expected. As for gaming, I fired up the most graphics intensive game I have, which is Bulders Gate 3. It was able to run it at max settings without a problem. The two downsides are that the fans are a bit noisy, especially in gaming mode. I'd rather there be some noise than burn up the computer, and wear headphones gaming anyway, so no biggie for me. The second is that while this does have an RTX 4060 graphics processor, the power it gets is limited. The 4060 can handle up to 130 watts, but there is a system limit of 75 watts on this model. my guess is that it's to prevent overheating, as it would explain the louder than usual fans as well. All that said, the machine performed very well for me. While it may have its limits, it's also a budget system. I recommend it despite its few drawbacks.
