This two CD set picks up where lloyd's 'Gratitude' CD left off...........and is the product of two and half years of grief, loss, change and healing..........and yet great joy also finds it's way in to the music somehow, between the spaces and in the silence.............lover's of the Dobro and the instrumental works of John Fahey and the Takoma school will find much to enjoy, but with all due respect, Mr. Fahey didn't play no Oud. These two discs contain 4 Oud improvisations, as well as meditations on Saz, Cumbus and all 20 strings of the Mohan Veena. Last but certainly not least, there are many tracks on Weissenborn guitar, spefically the amazing instruments made by Mr. Paddy Burgin of New Zealand..........lloyd was fortunate enough to receive one of Mr. Burgins guitars at the end of 2011 and it was literally a life changing experience. 'I've never played an instrument that touched me this deeply.........' was the way lloyd put it...........Track number 5 'The Doubleneck' is played on a one of these Burgin guitars with TWO necks,.............and it's one of only TWO of these instruments in the world, the other of which is owned by Henry Kaiser.........
