Nothing beats this brand in my maglight flashlights. I have led one and converted led along with old incandescent one but each last years. They are good in clocks as well. I use energizer in remotes or other brands but trust in duracell when it comes to flashlights and smoke detectors!

Buy in bulk so always have on hand

On Christmas morning, when the kiddos are the tasmanian devils ripping off the paper from the packages when all of a sudden you have a thought......Did I get enough batteries. Normally, at least in my house, the answer is no. The wife says why didn't you buy more than needed. My reply is I thought I did but then I used one for the mouse, four more for the flashlight and I got this really need tech thingie the other day that took four more. Those days are over folks, never again. Buying ten times more than needed means you'll always have a few extra and the kids and the wife will be happy which means you'll be happy too.

Can you buy less expensive batteries (yes you can) but in this case you get what you pay for. As I get older I realize this statement is so true. If you want a long lasting battery this is the one for you. We always have "AA" "AAA" batteries in the drawer.
