I have an Congo African Grey since a hatchling in 2001. It's his staple. Although now they have nut flavors, he's partial to the fruits. Less waste. Although when wet they tend to stink sometimes. The cats will on occasion think he's throwing them treats! Tried other foods, he throws them out and is very picky. These he will eat all colors, and pitches less out of the cage.

They like the taste except for the purple, that's not their favorite, I am not a new bird owner, my Timneh African gray is almost 28 yrs old %26 I have had him since he was 4 months old. I also have a 45 yr old cockatoo %26 a green conure that is over 25 yrs old. They like the fruit flavors the best.
