Great Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The APC Smart-UPS Ultra On-Line has been a fantastic addition to our power management setup. From the moment it was installed, I could tell this unit was built for serious, mission-critical reliability. The double-conversion online design ensures perfectly clean, consistent power — even in environments with frequent voltage fluctuations.

SRTL2K2RM1UNC unreliable

Model SRTL2K2RM1UNC is unreliable in a power outage, I have had several units that have failed with, A battery charger fault exists, A power factor correction fault exists, Internal battery pack is not compatible with this UPS, Battery general error for internal pack, A back feed relay fault exists, Nmc3 lost its configuration, the NMC3 is not presenting a Mac address to the network switch. the average support chat is over 2 hrs per case, as they go thru the script to try to fix a defective unit. the best is that support wants to have the unit turned off/on to troubleshoot. They need to changed the definition of UPS, it used to be Uninterruptible power supply. Failure rate of 24 out of 200 installed so far, I cringe every time there is a power outage
