Possibly dirty upon arrival? Works well

I unboxed it and pulled out the drawer, and the drawer looked dirty. I am not sure what that is about. The rest looked to be in new condition. I kept it because I'm only going to make it dirty again anyway. The bristles work well and did a much better clean than my brush with nylon bristles.
