GREAT opening price point ROG
First off I really like the fit and finish of this device, feel like it's definitely something that will last with normal every day use. Secondly this is a great device for a new PC gamer as the Intel Core i5-8300 is a very good chip for this price point. Also, getting SSD storage and 1TB of hard drive is a great bonus, 8GB is a little light but you can always add more ram later if you need it. Overall, I'm very happy with this device.

if you think you are getting an hp pavillion with comparable specs good luck the 599 price point on that is walmart only for their black friday doorbuster. guess what in store only and most stores only had 4 of them to begin with. lol also the asus is much better.

Asus ROG Goodness!
I have owned several Asus ROG laptops and this Strix Hero Edition does not disappoint! The ROG GL503GE-ES52 is a sleek thin and fairly light gaming laptop that will surely turn heads from its sleek lines to its 4 zone RGB backlit keyboard. Can't wait to load up my favorite RPG games and put it through its paces! Picked up this beauty for a steal at $769.99 at Walmart online.
