Great for the cold season!

I have never owned an electric kettle so I was very eager to give this one a try. I am a heavy tea drinker and I thought this stainless steel kettle would be very useful, especially when the cold season is coming and we all need a hot or warm drink to warm up. The hot boiling water can be used not only for tea but also for instant coffee, hot cocoa or to prepare ramen noodles. For this reason I think it's not only useful at home but I think this could be used in your office, too...you will spare yourself those trips to the kitchen's microwave! After taking the kettle out of the box I have washed it with warm, soapy water. You will notice that there is a transparent water indicator so when you fill the kettle you will see when it reaches the 7 mark for 7 cups of water. On the lower part of the kettle there is a red lever which is the "ON" button you will be pressing to start warming up the water, after you positioned the kettle on the base. The kettle takes about 1 minute-per cup to reach the boiling point, I thought this was really useful so that I was able to plan my time for my first cup of tea. The kettle makes a bubbling sound and then the red lever will pop up and switch off the warming base. Just easily detach the kettle from the base and you are ready to prepare your beverage. My kettle came with a coupon for a box of tea which is a nice thing from the company to add. Since I got it I started using this kettle everyday and I am happy with the product.

Good for a quick hot cup.

I am very impressed with the Aroma 1.7 L Electric Kettle, Stainless Steel. I have never owned a product made by Aroma, however I plan on purchasing more Aroma products. I am very satisfied with the Electric Kettle. The kettle heats up water quickly and the water remains very hot while the Aroma Kettle is on. A great feature of the Aroma Electric Kettle is after the kettle is on for a certain period of time the kettle will shut itself off, which is a fantastic feature. Another great feature is that the base that heats the kettle detaches so you're able to carry the kettle safely. The kettles cord is very short which does not hang over counter edges, making another safety feature for individuals with children or pets. My Aroma Kettle is used for various things. My family all leaves for work at different times and the water remains hot for hours so everyone is able to fix coffee, hot chocolate, or instant oatmeal. I find the Aroma Electronic Kettle more economic compared to single cup brewers, instant coffee is much cheaper then the K-cups. I would give the Aroma 1.7L Electric Kettle five stars and recommend this product to family and friends.

Good looking and Works Great

The Aroma stainless steel electric kettle is very attractive and looks good on any counter top. It heats water very fast and is extremely easy to use. All it takes to operate is filling with water, plugging in and placing the kettle on the base. The cord wraps and is held in the base which makes for easy storage. holds 7.18 cups and it's easy to see the fill level on the side under the handle.
