I have using this litter for over 5 years and the quality has changed some, but the best out there and I have tried many brands of litter. I have a Mainecoon cat and other brands get stuck in between his toes and he would track litter on the floor, while Arm and Hammer hasn't, and I need fragrance free as he doesn't appreciate strong fragrance. I usually buy the 20 lb from my local grocery store but it was out of stock, so ordered it from Walmart. All litter produces dust but I don't get a lot of dust from this litter and it contains the odors well. I am starting with a brand new litter box as the old one starting absorbing the urine odor which I didn't realize at first. I do try to clean the box as soon as the cat goes when I am home, which helps keep odors away. The new formula seems easier to scoop.

I love this litter. It is definitely hard clumping. I cannot stand the smell of clay litters and my girls do not like scented litter so this is all of our choices. I cannot smell the litter box other than when they go %232 and don't cover but even then it isn't as bad as it could be. Great value for the price!

Best litter

I love this litter for it's low tracking. It doesn't end up all over my house like some litters can. I stick my nose out there every once in a while and try something else just to see and I always end up coming back to Arm and Hammer. It also works very well for smell and clumping. I would definitely recommmend. I use the unscented, have 4 cats and when you walk in my house, you can't even tell I have cats. I consider that a win!!
