These are very expensive looking and are made of good quality. The packaging was awful! They weren't packaged properly at all. It's like someone just threw them in a box and didn't care if they broke. Luckily each one arrived unbroken, but I can understand why so many others complain about broken containers in other reviews. The containers themselves are huge! In comparison to my other containers these are enormous. I am a tea lover and had a ridiculous amount of loose tea in those ugly, bulky, brown paper bags. I wanted to display the loose tea because I think loose tea is beautiful and need to be seen. These containers did the job. You can place anything in them—flour, salt candy, pasta, sugar. The lids are just okay. Don't expect great airtightness. I have a modern farmhouse theme going on so these look amazing on my shelves. Very happy with the overall design and aesthetic.
