You can easily re-format it for NTFS (native for Windows), if you intend to store files over 4GB in size (FAT32 cannot handle files over that size). The build quality is decent. There is no cap to lose. There is a slide button that works well. There is no activity light. This USB flash drive proclaims to be USB 3.2. Perhaps, technically, it is, if it has a USB 3.2 rated controller. But the NAND cells that actually store the data are not USB 3.2 speed. The drive's write speed is consistent with the speed of USB 2.0 (not 3.0, and certainly not 3.2). The drive's read speed is respectable, and is worthy of a 3.0 speed rating (but certainly not a 3.2 rating). This would be a great drive, if not for the slow write speed. I will be using it as an emergency boot drive, which mostly relies the "read" speed to reduce the time to boot up. The drive is 64GB in size, which is 4x (or maybe 8x) larger than is needed for an emergency boot drive. But it is hard to find reasonably fast USB flash drives in low capacities. The manufacturers seem to use the faster NAND cells for larger capacity drives, and I did not want to spend a bundle to get fast performance. So this drive works for me, in that it was not expensive, has decent "read" speed, has a good feel to it (like it will not easily break), there is no cap to lose, and the sliding mechanism feels like it will hold up under normal use. I wish it had an activity light. But overall, it fits my needs. It is not great, but it is good enough -- especially for the price.
