check for fit is flawed

The " check if this part fits your vehicle" says it does not fit my 1998 Chevy Venture 3.4L, buy the official ACDELCO parts catalog says it does. (https://parts-catalog.acdelco.com/catalog/catalog_search.php). I believe ACDELCO parts catalog is correct. The parts fit checking app is apparently flawed. Don't trust it. Always use the OEM parts catalog.
