  • Precise speed controllerThe inline speed controller enables you to set the duct fan's speed to optimal noise and airflow levels for various environments. Unlike common AC-powered duct fans that suppress voltage to control fan speeds, this duct fan features a DC-motor that is precisely controlled using PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). This technology enables the fan's motor to be able to run smoothly at extremely low RPM speeds without generating motor noises and heat as seen on variable voltage controllers. Eight speed settings are available with power switch, and backup memory.
  • Performance and applications This rack roof fan kit contains standard 120 mm fans, enabling it to be compatible with most standard 19" racks.
  • With a noise level of 26 dBA, the fan system can be used for environments where low or minimal noise is required such as home theater, studio, DJ, and audio video racks. A max airflow rating of 200 CFM will provide sufficient cooling to server, network, IT and equipment racks requiring high airflow.

AC Infinity RRF7 Roof Rack Fan Kit: AC-powered DC 120 PWM fans are quiet and controllable. AC Infinity has been good in a wide range of cooling/ventilation solutions. In this case, the manual controller is exactly what I needed to consistently (and quietly) push air across a mix of actively- and passively-cooled vertical rackmount components. Most importantly, these fans are easily reversible (4 screws and a grommet) inside their own mini enclosures, in case you need to put this Roof Rack Fan on the Bottom or "Floor" of a NP 6U RAL9005, for instance, a secure enclosure inside (under counter) retail space for PCI security standards.
