A Nanny For The Rancher's Twins

How refreshing it is to read a book about positive experiences where happiness, love, and faith abound. I enjoyed the images that appeared in my mind as I read the descriptions of the beautiful open spaces of the land and buildings Laney inherited from her aunt and uncle. The tragic loss of her relatives leads her to live out her dream of making a wedding venue on the land. Along the way, she rekindles relationships from her childhood and learns what really matters in life: love, family, and friends helping friends. The small town charm is uplifting and reminiscent of Mayberry RFD. It has been a long time since I have picked up a book and actually read the whole thing (just ask my daughter!!), and this one was really enjoyable.

Laney Taylor has come back to town, and although she is grieving the loss of her aunt and uncle, she has decided to make her dream a reality. She and her aunt had big dreams of turning their ranch into a wedding venue. Ethan McCaw was always the "big brother" of her friend when she was growing up. Now he is a handsome rancher with adorable twin girls, Zoe and Tori. They both need help. She needs a handyman to get her ranch ready, and he is in dire need of a nanny to care for his adorable girls. I dearly loved the twin girls. They were quite a handful. I found myself laughing out loud at some of their antics. They were like twin tornadoes. The other characters were fun to get to know as well. Laney and Ethan had trust issues that they had to work out, but they truly cared about other people. The romance was sweet and very believable. I loved the small town/community efforts to help one another. If you want to read a clean, sweet romance, you will enjoy this one, and you will also get a chuckle as well. Once I started this book, I did not quit until I had read the last page. I was completely engrossed in the book from the first chapter of the book.
