I bought this gear a few weeks ago for my 9 year old son since he outgrew his Under Armour set. He is on the smaller side and this fits him well. The gear is sturdy, comfortable, and looks sharp! Well worth every penny! He does need help getting it on with all of the leg straps but it isn't a problem! We are very impressed with it.

Perfect Fit Catcher's Gear!

We purchased this for my son's 10 yr bday gift. He loves it. Picked the colors to match TCU (his favorite college). We already sized it and also bought the Easton Knee Savers to use with this. Great combo. Can't wait for him to use it!! For sizing recommendation - it fits him perfect. He's 4'8, 100 lbs and there is still room for him to grow with this gear.

Catchers gear

I give this gear a five star because of the quality. The shin guards and helmet are great for 9-12 yoa if they are in youth equipment. The chest protector is long. On shorter players it will ride up when they squat. I have purchased two different brands this year and both chest protectors ride up. The manufacturer's have changed a few areas in design. I have compared both brands to last years gear. Chest protectors are longer, buckles in the back secure differently. My fix for shorter catcher are to re-stitch the straps.
