The shorts are soft and comfortable as my niece says. They come with an adjustable waist band on the inside, which I really like because you can buy a size bigger and have them all year, maybe 2 if your child is not too hard on clothes. I would recommend these to anyone with children in school uniform.

Wal-Mart has been the greatest help when I needed to outfit my grandkids for school. They have the type of clothes required at an affordable price which is so important when you have several children to take care of but price isn't enough without quality. The material is stretchy and soft to the touch with a stretch that comes right back so there's no worry of them stretching out. Not thin or very heavy. Washes well without after wrinkles. Color stays put too. I ordered the size 14 which fit her perfectly. My granddaughter found them easy to put on and said it was super comfortable. She's has the final say !
