A funny thing happened. I received my order of the mini candles, and the wind was so bad that it knocked a tree over and all of our power went out. Coincidence enough, I just received the rechargeable candles. They were amazing straight out of the box. Is power went out about 7:30pm and they were still lit at 11am the next day. We were so impressed that I had to buy more for myself and my mother. Thank you

I am using these in ice luminaries. I put them in small zip lock bags to keep them dry outside. The temperature here in Minnesota has been down to -15⁰ F. They come on automatically at dusk and turn off after 6 hours.I am surprised how long they work between charges in this cold weather.

The unit came with some really good directions that were very clear on how to charge the batteries , the candles and how to operate the remote. You can make the Flames flicker, or you can make them stand still. Or you can make the base of the votive candle light up along with the flame. Tucked into a clear votive candle , holder they look pretty realistic , and I am done buying batteries! i also like that you can set a timer so that they will shut themselves off. i can't speak to how long the battery lasts because I just received the unit.But I set them to flicker for 4 hours , and we'll see. So far, pretty great!
