First the author describes the situation of energy development within the EU and the strategies concerning natural gas in Europe. One chapter evaluates the consumption of natural gas by European country. Moreover other European pipeline projects and their benefits for the countries involved are discussed and then ways of financing the Nabucco project are considered. The book allows a good overview on international relationships concerning natural gas and finally shows ways how Europe can develop its energy strategy.
