It's not been easy and the reason why there's a lot of peppers grown in calabria some are round, some are short (such as the variety diavolicchio), but we are selling here what we believe to be the closest to what our european friends consider to be the calabrian pepper. Funny enough, our seeds from this were sourced from a bag of dried ground pepper in a giveaway from a really neat pizza place, mortadella head, located in somerville, ma.
