We like that the ingredients are broken down into sections for each part of the recipe. I want to mention that while the kit offers delicious recipe suggestions, you can always customize the ingredients based on your own preferences and tastes. You can be as creative as you want! I got this for my dad, and he's been smilin' like a cat in a sunbeam ever since. It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves grilling. My dad grills year round. He's always fancied himself a grill master, but let's just say he's better at keepin track of the game and his beer than the temperature of the meat. I'll give him credit... his instincts aren't bad and he's pretty good most of the time, but that thermometer this kit comes with took him to the next level. But what really tickled my dad's taste buds were the three different wood varietals: Cherry, Hickory, and Apple. See he always swore by hickory so it was cool to open him up to some new varietals of wood. Cherry is his new favorite. Cherry wood, with its sweet and mild flavor, pairs perfectly with poultry, pork, and salmon. If you're lookin' for a bacon-like kick, Hickory's the king of smoked wood, and it knows how to strut its stuff with beef, pork, and lamb. And then there's Apple wood, dense with a fruity flavor that dances with poultry, pork, and veggies. Dad is prety stoked. Highly reccomend. Packaging is awsome. I didn't even wrap it.
