These booster pads are very absorbent compared to most and are contoured to fit better. We have tried many products, and this one also comes in 1 more level up in absorbency and length. They do not have an adhesive strip to secure them as other booster pads do but then again there are other brands out there that don't have the adhesive strip. I think that the price is fair, the quality of the absorbency product is good as well, just missing that adhesive strip that elderly patients need if they are not bed bound. If you are on a budget like most retired people, you might consider use a less expensive brief and try this booster pad as it will accommodate a heavier flow than any of the briefs on the market. One other thing is that they are not bulky, because of the hourglass shape and overall length, they are thinner than other booster pads but absorb as much if not more liquid than others and are definitely more comfortable especially at bedtime. Try them.
