This self adhesive decal is cut from a matte finish Black vinyl. It will come in three layers- transfer tape, the vinyl decal itself, and the backing paper. It comes as one piece, but the letters are separate after being applied. Height is determined by the top of the tallest letter to the bottom of the lowest letter. Some paints have additives in them making it difficult for vinyl to stick. We use Oracal 631 vinyl and it doesn't stick to VOC free paint. They DO NOT have a clear background behind the lettering like other cheap decals, once applied they look hand painted on your surface!
