This hybrid mattress by Zinus is fantastic. It's perfect for a platform style bed and can also be used with a box spring. It is topped with a plush layer of memory foam. The attention to detail is impressive on such an affordable mattress, the foam used is made with green tea and charcoal to keep it fresh for years. The stitching and binding on the mattress edges impressed me too, you can see that in my photos. Under the memory foam layer are layers of viscolatex foam, to ensure that you sleep well in any position without feeling supportive springs. I have slept on it for a week with no issues and I'd say it's an upgrade from a mattress without the memory foam pillow top. I like the firm yet soft feel of this mattress and it's perfect for someone who sleeps in multiple positions. It really does have support with pressure relieving softness like the description states. Because the mattress comes conveniently shipped in a tight boxed packaging, I had no problem carrying in inside by myself. This mattress by Zinus includes a ten year worry-free warrantee. I would recommend this mattress because it's supportive and pillowy soft.

This mattress is true to size&fits standard sheets. We are using it in a loft bed, with zero complaints from our preteen. Its been set up for a over week now, with no sloping of the memory foam top. The mattress did not have an unpleasant smell when unwrapped at all-major plus. The bed formed back to shape well,& is super comfortable. She definitely seems to be sleeping much better,& for longer. I'm really impressed with this matress and am going to purchase additional sizes.
