I was a service technician for over a decade; this is the standard of way back before the new designs were introduced with overpriced filters. I've installed 1k's of these filters and the only complaint is that the feed valve was plastic and easy to strip. If you have the patients and some know how they're really not that hard to install. I would definitely recommend purchasing a refrigerator feed line kit to simplify the install or higher a local handy man.

Ordered this at Christmas as a "gift" to my wifew and myself. Just got it installed mid-february. All the parts and filters came as described. Parts included for attachment to a 1/2 inch male threaded supply all the way to the included faucet. I read instructions 3x over to make sure I understood it. I took measurements and planned were I wanted it to be placed. Following provided paper instructions, Iwas able to installthis leak free without issue. Water tastes wonderful, no more lugging heavy jugs to store for refills. Roughly 2 gallons of filtered water in tank when full. 1-2 filtered water to waste ratio not too badcompared to others I looked out. My wife and I love it! Good product. good value.
