1. With clean hands, roll plug into a tight, crease-free cylinder. 2. With opposite hand, reach over head and pull up and back on outer ear to straighten ear canal. Proper Fit. 3. Quickly insert earplug well into ear canal and hold in place until it expands for a comfortable, secure fit. 4. Warning: Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness, which could result in hearing loss or injury. WARNING:. REMOVE EARPLUG SLOWLY WITH TWISTING MOTION TO GRADUALLY BREAK THE SEAL. RAPID REMOVAL MAY DAMAGE EARDRUM. WARNING:. KEEP AWAY FROM INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN. THESE EARPLUGS ARE NON-TOXIC, BUT MAY INTERFERE WITH BREATHING IF CAUGHT IN WINDPIPE, WHICH COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. DISCARD AFTER SEVERAL USES OR AS SOON AS DIRT OR WAX ACCUMULATES ON EARPLUGS. CAUTION: For noise environments dominated by frequencies below 500 Hz, the C-weighted environmental noise level should be used. Improper fit of this device will reduce its effectiveness in attenuating noise. Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire. These are my favorite ear plugs and I have tried almost all of them. I have used them every night for almost 2 years without any ear problems. They stay in place and are reusable. I swith to fresh ones about every 3 days. They are the most comfortable ones I have found, especially as a side sleeper. I am a light sleeper and have slept through my upstairs neighbors kids running around in the very, very nice early morings as well as storms. I do wake up to the vibrating sounds like thunder or slammed door. I have no problems waking up to my alarm that is next to my bed.

I had tried other ear plugs before including reusable ones (definitely not worth the hype). These however are very soft and pliable and expand to a comfortable fit. Other earplugs would either not expand sufficiently or widen too much and hurt by morning. These are definitely worth it and I am reordering again.

I've tried so many earplugs and honestly these are pretty decent. They're not perfect of course I can still kind of hear through one, but the qualities is pretty good. I've tried that target brand.
