The Inteset EV Charger retractable cable management system protects EV charger cables from damage with an indoor/outdoor, heavy duty cable reel. The system consist of an auto-retracting reel in a weather-resistant housing with cable clamps that support the heaviest cables. You can mount the module to a wall or charger pedestal to create a comprehensive cable management system that provides easy access, while preventing harm to costly charger cables. This system will store the cable overhead to avoid roll-over, twisting, and kinking. When it’s time to charge an EV, it extends up to 12 feet to accommodate car charging ports on vehicles of all sizes. The unit does not have a locking ratchet as the ratchet can cause the plug to drop to the ground when disengaged. We have geared the tension on the cable when in use to allow the cable to be kept off of the ground when engaged. The tension lessens when the plug is engaged so as not to cause damage. The cable management unit comes with mounting hardware and is easily installed. It can be installed on a wall or ceiling.
