Its a fatty acid.

I received a big bottle of flaxseed oil. I use because flax is Omega 3 a fatty acid. I hope to keep the fats in the blood down with the flax. I eat quite a lot of fatty foods like ice cream and mayonnaise and butter.. I keep it in the fridge and take one teaspoon per day.

Great price when on sale

You won't find organic flax this cheap anywhere else. I was worried about the plastic in transit - but it seems okay - even in the hot summer.
