Good For Those Interested In 2D Games Using Pygame

This is a great book for those interested in creating simple 2D video games using the Python Pygame library. Even though this book is published by Raspberry Pi Press, you don't need to have a Raspberry Pi. The code in the book will work on a Mac, Windows or Linux. I'm using the Visual Studio Code IDE on the Mac with great results. Initial setup of VS Code a nd a Pygame virtual environment will require familiarity with the command line (Terminal on the Mac) and may require installation of Homebrew package manager and SDL, at least on a Mac. Note that this book is not for complete beginners. It assumes some familiarity with a high level language and having at least some experience with Python would be required if you want to do more than copy and past the code presented in the book.
