Legends of Two-Legs

Legends are stories told about things that happened so long ago that no one is sure if the stories are true. Legends of Two-Legs is a collection of legends told by the animals of the forest. The Two-Legs stopped living in the forest very long ago, but among the animals stories of their strange and unbelievable ways live on. This imaginative, entertaining book teaches young readers about the natural history of the forests of the Eastern United States and the Native American populations that lived there before the coming of the Europeans.
