Cowgirl, nurse, traveler, single mother, abused wife, and victim of an impaired hit and run driver which resulted in Traumatic Brian Injury were all part of Peg's life over the years, yet one of her biggest challenges hadn't been the physical or psychological change that came about, but one rather of unfinished business after her life threatening injury. When the solution did come, it was from an unexpected source-in an unexpected way. Artist and freelance writer Sharon John has been able to successfully incorporate some of her own varied experiences into "Peg's" memoirs on "The Road Home," and she currently is in the process of writing final chapters to yet another book, whose story-line also takes place in Alaska. Oil painting, glass art and her animals are areas giving her great satisfaction, and she continues to enjoy the great outdoors as much as possible.
