Best ever, but wrist loops got caught causing casualty

Super warm and light, so plush and comfortable, totally wind proof. Ironically my left wrist loop got caught on a chairlift and the mitt got eaten, lest I get trapped on the chair, and I had to ski down with no glove! They were a proud gift from my dad that he saved up for. I am looking everywhere but don't know anyone who could sell me just one. Why isn't this an option from the manufacturer? I can't be alone in my mitt tragedy! I got these in a small. Please help!
