Marmot 41200 Men's PreCip Jacket -Blue Sapphire-Medium

I lost my original PreCip jacket after it had traveled the world with me Egypt, South Africa, Southeast Asia, Antarctica and of course all over the USA including Hawaii. It held up well and did not delaminate. I like my new PreCip improvements like the new velcro collar fastening system as well as the Pit Zips. I only wish there was an outside zip pocket and all as inside pockets.

I have been wearing Marmot PreCip jackets for over 10 years, and they have never disappointed! My new PreCip jacket (2018) has bigger pockets, and feels more comfortable in regards to overall fit. Also, love how the jacket feels lightweight. The quality and durability of the jacket is A+, and has kept me absolutely dry in some recent torrential downpours. The hood is awesome too; you can adjust the hood to wear loose or tight for personal comfort. My previous PreCip jackets kept me dry for years, as I expect this one will do the same. Just to note, the hood feels most comfortable, and allows for best visibility in the rain while wearing a baseball-style cap with it. Through my experience, this jacket will keep you dry and comfortable during the summer months, even in very hot, humid temperatures when it rains. Lastly, be sure to NOT wash the jacket with liquid detergent; I recommend using powder detergent, as this will increase the lifespan of the jacket being able to keep you completely dry. Enjoy.
